| Show South Davis Lions Hear Heur Value Of United Fund The South Davis L Lions Ion s club met in regular session Monday night Aug 23 SEN BYRON DYRON Davis County who has been appointed chairman of the United Fund campaign for forthe forthe forthe the south Davis area was wasa a guest of the Ll Lions ns at this meeting He lie spoke on the benefits of the United Fund to such organizations as The Opportunity Center in North Salt Lake and other organizations He lie also outlined the program program program pro pro- gram for this campaign THE nm SOUTH Davis Lions voted to give ive their full support support support sup sup- port to Sen Rampton and the United Fund drive The Lions urge the general public public public pub pub- lic to get behind this drive for it does many good deeds and has many uses for this money For example they are sUp supporting p 0 r tin g the Boy Iby Scouts this year so they will not have to put on fund drives to be able to exist The South Davis Lions have Just completed a abow- abow bowery bowery bow bow- ery in the North Salt Lake park and are getting ready to install bleachers in the Little Lea League g u e baseball field Held THEY ALSO were instrumental Instrumental in instrumental In- In in helping the Little League in a fund drive to get the boys out of debt so they may have a Little League in this area 4 t tt t I FL w BYRON RAMPTON next year The Lions would appreciate appreciate appreciate any help extended to them by anyone on any of these projects |
