to put out the fire as it was burning the wall of the one room house engaged the fire burned the clothing almost from the mans back before he discovered it As it burned upward the flamo caught his hair and thence burned around until most of his beard had been singed and his face badly disfigured As the fire began to sear his back his cries of pain attracted mrs alice morris who lives near she I 1 pave the name of hamilton in alic chopo that hia would not become known to his mother and sister the I 1 mans mother seems to havo been in doubt when she wrote the letter cheth er alio prisoner
