Last of the Palmer Murder Case. Paris. May 4. It was announced yes-terday that the section of the l.e:t would j lined with the Social stand Boulangist deputies m demanding a voe ci cen;uie to-da- against Cotstans, minister of the ietenor, on the ground that the latter is responsible for the shugliter ol the men women a. id children shot down by the troops at Four mines Labor day. Con-stats y after replying in explana-tory terms to the question as to the Fourmies lift lir, and grving his version ol the m uter, holding that neither the governor nor the troops were to blame tor the matter, was astonished to see Roche, Uie deputy representing the Seven;ee nth eh ctorial district of the Seine, spr.ng to his leet and shout fierc-iv- , "Murderer." A tremendous sensation followed. Finally peace was restored and the chamber voted that Roch should lie excluded from any tnrther part in to-day's session and that he should be ied censured by the chamber for the term he had applied to the minister ol the ni'eiior. Nosooiier was this action decided upon than Roche at-ai-n sprang to his leet and shaking his fist at those of his ass.icia'e who proposed rxpulsion and censure the ang y deputy yelled: "You me a lot of varlets worthy of your niasiet?" Tlifs was more than the presiding offi cer could submit .to, so he ordered Roche removed by force from the chamber. This was eventually done amid one of the wildest scenes ever witnessed in the chamber ofdeptities. The chamber then, by a vote of 356 to 33, declared confidence in the govern-ment. Chattanoga.Tenn. May 4 InfJtnu-tio- n reached here this morning of a horrible hjlocaust which occured last night at Duck Creak siding on the Chat-tanooga Southern railroad thirty miles soiith of this city. The kitchen con struction train used in building the new road caught fire in some unknown man-ner and four colored menKing Mead-ows, John Harvey, Will Broder and Elder AMes wete burned to death. The theory is the men were murdered and then burned. A novel experiment has been advised for the entertainment of dinner guests w ho partake of it. The secret of pre-forming this magic feat lies in soaking good germinating lettuce seed m alco-hol for about six hours and sowing it in an equal'mixture of u.islacked lime and rich soil. After the soup has been serv-ed sprinkle the seeds with luke warm water and they will sprout immediately the lettuce growing to about the sire of hazel nuts before the time for serving the salad arrives. The village of Draper iS miles south of Salt Lake, was the scene Sunday of a terrible struggle for life on the part of several young pe ip!e, and of the heroic death of one of their number-i- his at-tempts to save his younger brother and sister. There is a large pond in Draper, from twelve to fifteen feet deep, and on Sunday while playing on its banks, a little b-- and girl, children of Bishop Allen, fell into tl e water, one first slip-ping in and the otherjumping after her, or being in attempt to save it. The screams ol the children drew their broth-er to the spot a boy of fourteen named Louis Allen who at once jumped into the pond to their rescue. He succeeded 111 getting the little bey to the shore and returned to aid the girl, she in her fright clasped the brave fellow around the neck and both went down. In the mean time her screams had attracted a young man who was pasaing by, and jumping in, he was just in time to save net; the boy Louis however, had gone to the bottom, and though he was soon brought to the surface and every means possible taken to rescuitate him, the vital spatk had fed. The death of the brave boy has cast a gloom on the whole village, and his paients have the sympathy of entire community in their bereavment.- -: Her aid. News Items.
