remarks of the various various speakers were actuated bythe by the same spirit and tho the subjects spoken upon were nearly related to each other all pertaining to the present condi lion tion or position of tho latter day saints and the necessity of our living faithful before god prest 0 G snow S now delivered a powerful dies dia course upon tho the duties necessary to be observed ay iy the saints in every particular fie he referred to the necessity for the observance of the sabbath day and also of observing and attending fast meetings 98 on saturday afternoon mr air horsley gave a very interesting account of his labors on hia his recent mission to england A little up wards ards w of two years ago he was called to go on a mission to eng land he was then led to inquire for himself in regard to his know knowledge ledie of this thi being the work of god and found that he had a knowledge of the truth of this work and th that gave him confidence to go forth upon his mission hia his experience peri ence on bis his mission had bad been varied and on many occasion required the exer exercise se of much faith in god the lord had blessed him abundantly and be he had been enabled to preach breach the gospel in places laces where it had scarcely been E heard eard of before in one place in in the county of berks he baptized b twelve and organized a branch where there had never been any branch of the church previously he also bap baptized tired eighteen individuals in another place and nine in still another locality he had preached in two or three sectarian churches ho ile
