Show PARIS FLOOD WATERS CONTINUE TO RISE Paris. Nov 1.1. The River Seine lose at the rate of half a centimeter an hour today. The official statement that the maximum flood would bo reached on Thursday next has not reassured re-assured the riverside dwellers in this city and in the suburbs, who view the waters rising slowly In the streets bordering the stream and fear another t haster. The return of flood conditions condi-tions has convinced the government that their raising, of the parapets Is but a makeshift measure and( accordingly, accord-ingly, it will puh the big project of a canal to divert the waters in times of flood.
