In tho opening arguments for tho state, Prosecutor Culbertson alluded to Mrs. Moore's confession to her hus-. band of her alleged relations with Gibson as "an overdrawn fairy tale." Had Plotted to Kill Gibson. He said that Moore had plotted to kill Gibson and had shot him in the back at the, first opjKirtunlty. He asked the Jury to convict Moore on the ground "that no man has the right to make a law unto himself." For the defense, Attorney James M. House declared that the evidence showed that Mrs. Moore's story of Gibson's pursuit of her could not be questioned and that it had been proved lhat her confession bad plunged plung-ed ber husband Into an emotional insanity, in-sanity, under stress of which bo had killed Gibson. oo - |
