Show TESTIMONY AS TO HIS INJURIES The damage suit of John Lindstrom against the Diamond Coal fc Coke company was resumed before Judgn Howell and a jury In the district court this morning, all of Monday having been taken up in Impaneling1 a Jury and hearing the direct testimony of the plaintiff. Mr Undstrom testified lhat at the lime of the accident he was working for tho defendant company In one ;f its mines at Oakley, Wyo.. as a tfm-berman. tfm-berman. It being his duty to attend to tho placing of timbers in the tunnel tun-nel in such a way as to make It a safe place for the miners, haulers and other workmen engaged in the mine. He said that he was placed at work In the tunnel quite a distance Into open ground, which caved In upon him, a largo rock catching his leg and, foot and pinioning him to the ground. Dr. Coulter testified that ho assisted assist-ed In attending the Injuries of Mr. Llndstrom and that the man had suffered suf-fered a compound fracture of the ankle, an-kle, foot and leg a serious injury.. The doctor stated that he made an examination or the injured ankle yes: tcrday and that, although more lhan a year had elapsed since the accident, tho ankle Joint had not. Improved very much and that there Is a probability that the Injury is of a permanent nature. na-ture. He said the ankle Is restricted and sore and that chronic inflammation inflamma-tion is present.
