Show METHODISTS OF UTAH TO MEET The annual meeting of the Utah mission of the Methodist Episcopal church will be held In Provo, beginning begin-ning the morning of Thursday, August 18th. Bishop W. A. Quayle will pro-tide, pro-tide, lie is knowu as one of the greatest preachers among the . bishops, bish-ops, a company of trained men. who are chosen for life from among tho other ministers. , , Bishop Quayle Is a writer of a number num-ber of books all of which have had a wide circulation. Ho will give his lec-tnro lec-tnro on, "The Tragedy of Shakespeare's Shakes-peare's Greatness," on Saturday night and will preach Sunday morning and evening. For all of these, the opera house has been secured. The other sessions will be held In the Methodist church. In addhlon others will be present from outside of the state. Among these arc Dr. H- J. Cokor who represents rep-resents the Board of Home Missions and Church Extension, and Dr, S. H. Kirkbride of the American Bible Society. Provo is a city of beauty and righteousness. right-eousness. It has good hotel accommodations, accom-modations, and in addition to the members of the mission, it is expected expect-ed that there will e a large attendance attend-ance of the laymen of the church as B.shop Quayle has asked each church to send a delegate that there mlcht be a laymen's conference. Thero will be two more Sundays until un-til conference and there will be services ser-vices in Ogden, both morning aud evening aud an effort Is being made to arrange special programs of music, mu-sic, that the services may be especially espec-ially attractive and helptul.
