Dec. 27.-Spiral gliding from an altitude of almost U.-nnu U.-nnu feet, with a frozen carbureter, a dead engine nd blown five miles from his course by a fony-mlle-on-hour wind. John B. Moisant swept down to within twenty feet of the ground at 100 miles an hour this afternoon at the aviation field.
