Show UTAH GUARDSMEN MAKE GOOD RECORD D.ile Creek'. Vyo.. Aug 10. During th. greater part of the morning Camp Otis was practically deserted, but near midday the maneuvering of tho corps eauie nearer camp and It was evident that the problem was the capture of the camp. The engagements engage-ments were spirited, numerous and long, and the yellow smoke rockets were not seen until the afternoon. The maneuvering of all organizations was good and there were few troops In camp except those belug disabled. When the final attempt to take the camp came, soldiers on each ldo seemed to pop up o-? every hill. Tho charging r.f the cavalry was spectac- ular. The mulo battc-rk-s and machine guns acaln did the effective work. All Utah militia organizations were In the fight, doing well alongside the regulars. reg-ulars. Today is the final day for the Utah boys in Camp Oils, the camp being struck In the late arternoou. In the morning the organizations will be In-Fpected In-Fpected and mustered, receiving their pay. In the afternoon the wirelesR sections will do their final work. The stations will be ten miles apart. The first station will lay buzzer lines between be-tween stations and everyone will work. The mule batteries, the Flf- teenth Infantry and I company signal corps leave Sunday. The Utah boys will reach homo Sunday morning |
