Show TWO VERY GOOD TINTIC PROSPECTS Salt Lake, Aug. 11. There are two small trails of gunpowder at Tintlc leading from far separated spots to ono tremendous magazine of excitement, excite-ment, which, when fired by tho match of fact, will cause an explosion destined des-tined to blow Tintlc and the Tntic stocks back safely and surely once more Into the first place with the public. pub-lic. On the Colorado and on tho Iron Blossom there are effort3 being placed on what cvory ono terms tho most important im-portant work since the find of tho famous Colorado ore body. It will lo recalled that tho Iron Blossom management has never encountered en-countered silver and lead ores south of a certain point known to tho world as the east and west break or fault. The far south shalt ?s in splendid ore, but the rock carries gold and copper mainly instead of flllver and lead. It was reported locally Wednesday that tho Iron Blossom has found filver and lead oro from the No. 3 shaft, tho shaft upon which rests tho responsibility responsi-bility of finding tho continuation to tho south of the silver-lead rock. J. William Kn&ht was reached over tho telephone yesterday afternoon and informed of this report, Mr. Knight stated that he had not heard yesterday from tho Iron Blossm management, man-agement, but the day before tho management man-agement had informed him that on the DOO-foot level there were from 3 to 4 feet of good silver-lead rock, and the Indications at that time wero favorable fa-vorable for a continuation to tho south There never has been much of this class of ore found that far south i'n tho Iron Blossom. The No. 3 shaft disclosed some such oro some time ago on tho 400 level, but it lacked the good points that the 500 discovery now has. It was rumored here on Tuesday 500-foot level had encountered some that the Colorado drift east on tho oro. Wlien asked about this Mr. Knight said that he had heard nothing noth-ing about It. and should it prove tnio he undoubtedly will be quickly Informed In-formed when there was enough known to allow somo definite opinion to be drawn in reyard thereto. These two points, then, promise to hold tho attention of the public from now on. The trail, II is true, aa yet is faint from the 500 level of the Colorado, Colo-rado, but tho management knows what it is doing There havo been somo mighhty attractivo indications to cause this east drift lo bo driven, and should there really be ore in that part of tho mine, it will not doubt mean another Colorado, an entirely new birth But tho Iron Blossom indications in-dications are more positive. There Is no need to emphasize the importance of finding tbo .continuation to tho south of the silver lead valuta characteristic char-acteristic of the! Colorado ore body. Tho point of present importance Is between 400 and 600 feet south of the north end lines of the property, and between the No 3 and the No. 1 or south shaft there are several thousand thou-sand feet of untouched territory that affords a most fascinating area for exploration. It would take just such a strike of importance In either of these mines to restore the prestige of the Tlntlcs on the local exchange, and none will be found who will doubt that an long as there is ore-bear.ng I'mo loft untouched un-touched that there Is on both tbso Knight propositions, there is nbnnd-nnt nbnnd-nnt proof that either or both have the power to ' come back." |
