Show NOTICE TO WATER USERS. City, Utah. July 14. 1910. State Englneer'6 Office, Salto Lako City, July 14, 1910. Notlco is hereby lven that H. J. Craven, whose postofflce address Is Ogden. Utah, has made application in accordance with tho requirements of the Compiled Laws of Utah, 1907, as amended by the Sessions Laws of Utah, 1909, to appropriate twenly (20) cubic-feet per second of water irom the North Branch of tho South Fork of Ogden River, Weber County, Utah. Said water will bo diverted at a polut which bears north 11 degrees de-grees west 3,200 feet from tho south quarter corner of Section 23, Tow nship 7, north, Range 3 east, Salt Lake baso and meridian, from where it will bo conveyed by means of a pipe lino for a distance of 12,500 feet and thero used during tho period from January 1 to December 31, Inclusive, of each year, to develop power for the purpose pur-pose of electric lighting and propelling propel-ling machinery at Ogden, Utah. Iu addition to the quantity of water above specified, applicant Intends to appropriate twenty (20) acre-feet of water which will be stored during the period from January 1 to December 31, inclusive, of each year, In a reservoir re-servoir embraced in Section 23, Township Town-ship 7 north, Range 3 east, Salt Lake base of meridian. The water so ctored will be released whenever needed during the entire year at the point above described and conveyed by means of a pipe line- for a dis tance of 12,500 feet and used in connection with the twenty (20 cubic-feet. After having been so diverted di-verted and used, the water will be teturncd to the natural channel of the stre-rm, at a point which bears north 59 degrees, 54 minutes west 2,840 feet from the Eoulhcast corner of Section 31. Township 7 north. Range 3 east. Salt Lake base and meridian. This application Is designated desig-nated In the State Engineer's ofllco as No. 3040. All protests against tho granting of said application stating the rea fons thereof, must be made by affidavit affi-davit in duplicate and filed Iti this office within thirty (30) days after the completion of the publication of this notice.
