A lawn party, given by Miss Pearl Browning at the borne of her parents on Thirty-third street last Friday evening, was one of the most enjoyable enjoy-able of the week. Music and games appropriat-- for the occasion, were enjoyed by all In the midst of the pretty Chinese lanterns lan-terns which overhung the lawn. A delicious luncheon was served during the evening. An enthusiastic "Bon Yovago" was given Elder Emll Thedell by about forty of his "Old Country" friends who surprised him at his home op Second Street last Tuesday eve, prior tc his departure for the Scandinavian Mission. The evening was spent enjoying en-joying pleasant memories of the fatherland, refreshments and music. The party broke up al 12 p. m. The announcement of the marriage of Miss Helen B. Cartnlchaol of San Francisco to Mr. Charles Caylor Morton, Mor-ton, son of Mrs. Thomas W. Fleshner, formerly of Ogden, has ben received. The ceremony was performed on Saturday, Sat-urday, Aug. 20. at the home of Mrs. M. E. Carmlchacl, the bride's mother. In the Coust city. Mr. and Mrs. Frank. Ramsey and Mrs. Sarah N. clones. Mrs. Ramsey's mother, of Prove, returned from a pleasure trip through Idaho nnd Yi-lowi-tone National jark, and after spending a few- days with Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Jones at 43 Serenteenth St, left for their borne In Provo. Mr. Ramsey Is a promising young business man of Provo and has many warm friends in his home city, and other western towns. J. H. Harding. Mrs. Harding and their son. J. E. Harding, who are route to the Northwest and Pacific coast, in an auto, arrived in Ogden Sunday and rested for the night at the Reed. H. M. Pugh and daughter, of Evanston. Wyo., are registered at the Reed. Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Kerneem of Gal-va, Gal-va, Illinois and three children are visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. F. R. Walker. 2012 Wash. Mr. and Mrs. F. R. Walker of 2u i2 Wash., have returned after several weeks' visit to Cokeville. Womln,i, visiting with G. E. Bourne and C. E.
