Show COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY TO RECEIVE BIG GIFT NEW YORK, Dec. 23. George L. Rives, chairman of the board of directors di-rectors of Columbia university, and Robert W. De Forest, president of the Presbyterian hospital, announced tonight that $1,500,(mmi had been pledged pledg-ed to perfect an affiliation between the hospital and tho medical school of the university. The name of the doner Is not announced. ' The gift tomes through Edward S.
