Kas., Kansas City, Mo., and Leavenworth, Leaven-worth, Kas., are today searching for the cool young man, neatly dreaded, who last night took possession of a Missouri-Pacific passenger train from Leavenworth to Kansas City, Kas., robbed passengers and train crew and escaped. It Is now believed the band-It band-It obtained at least $30" from about twenty persons searched. Most of the amounts were small. Two men lost watches. ! The bandit dropped from the train when It slowed down in the Kansas City, Kas., suburbs and Is believed to have made his way across the line to this city. Capt. U H. New-bold of the Fourth Fulled States artillery, who was Fhot and slightly wounded by the bandit, returned to Fort Leavenworth early Joday. In a long-distance telephone conversation. conver-sation.
