Show OLD RYE PATCH STARTSUP AGAIN Men have been sent out from Salt Iake this week to begin a campaign of development work on that whi!om phenomenal producer, the Rye Patch mine, which In the olden days produced pro-duced hundreds of thousands of lol- lars of rich ore, great chambers ns big as a house giving up dirt, much of which was worth f 1 a pound. Tho Rye Patch Consolidated Mining Min-ing company was reorganised In Salt i Lake a tho'rt time ago, taking In a number of prominent local busln men who will add materially to the strength of the company. The direct cently disposed of a block of the stock close to 100,000 eharea. which glres ' a working capital Bumelent to prosecute pros-ecute vigorous developments. The company owns fdx claims located three and a half mll-a from the railroad rail-road town or Rye Patch. In Humboldt county. Nevada. It Is estimated that In .00 feet from the tunnel this contact win be reached bv the wlnrA The general run of Rye Patch milling mill-ing ore goes near $12 in silver and copper, with a little lead and some gold High grade Is frequently found In big chambers swelling out from tho milling ore. On one raise recently recent-ly ore was found which ran as high as $107 in gold. 11 per cent copper and 2.20O ounces silver. Th- general average is $50 rock, however.
