Show J. G. FALCK AND FAMILY ARRIVE PROPERTY AUDITOR ADDED TO FOREST SERVICE FORCE. He Has Been Prominent In the 8chool Affairs of Waehinton Interested Inter-ested In Local Schools. Property Auditor J. G Falck, of the United States Forest Service at Washington, Wash-ington, D. C, arrived here today aud Is preparing to establish his office-on office-on the fourth floor of the First N'si-' tlonal Dank building. It had not been definitely known until now that thlj Important office of the Forest Scrvlc; would be transferred to the we3t. There not being room on the fifth floor of tho First National bank, now fully ful-ly occupied by tho Forest Service, rcoms on the fourth floor have been pecured to Accommodate Mr. Falc'-t and his office force. Heretofore, the transactions between be-tween the "forest" supply depot and the respective forest districts in the west have been audited at the headquarters head-quarters at Washington. Every requisition requi-sition of a supervisor or district chlet tor anything of a "non-expendable" character, varying from an office chair to a ranger's marking axe, must be I-nssed upon by the property auditor before the transaction Is officially ap-r ap-r roved. Duplicate statements aro then -Issued; one to Property Clerk Smith of the supply depot, stating that the goods have been transferred from his account to that of the one receiving them, the other eolne to the latter advising him that his ac count has been duly charged with the goods asked for.
