Show EXAMINERS OF NATIONAL BANKS ONSALARY BASIS Washington, Jan. 3 National bank examiners will be put 'upon a salary or per diem and expenses and the present pres-ent fee system will be abolished, it the recommendations made by Secretary Secre-tary Cortelyou, Comptroller Murray and Deputy Comptroller Kane of the treasury department are carried out Under the fee system the comptroller comptroll-er does not direct the routes of tha examiners. According to testimony of Deputy Kane before the national monetary commission, any bank on the ll6t of a certain examiner may locato him at any time.
