After hearing considerable argument by counsel, Municipal Judge Crowe has decided that "shot to pieces" as applted to ome automobiles, is a perfectly good term. In a suit before him yesterday, a salesman testified that a certain automobile auto-mobile was "all shot to pieces," before be-fore It entered a warehouse. "I object to that term," said an attorney, at-torney, and then came the prolonged discussion. 'Ts that term 'shot to pieces' used by automobile men?" Judge Crowe asked. "Yes, it Is a common expression." "If that is so. I will have to admit the phrase Into the evidence," ruled the court, "although tho term Is not exactly a good one from a legal standpoint."
