Show SHOOTING CONTEST HELD AT WASATCH GUN CLUB YESTERDAY YESTER-DAY AFTERNOON. Chris Adneson Wins Prize Hung Up by Dupont Powder Company Score 47. An Interesting shooting contest at the traps was held at the Wasatch grounds yesterday afternoon, in which three squads of men took part. The ' day was clear and warm and altogether altogeth-er a good day for high Ecores. The shoot was for a beautiful hand-painted picture, which was captured by Chris AdneEon in a score of 47 out of a possible pos-sible 50. The prize was hung up by the Dupont Powder compauy, who had a representative on the ground in the person of P. J. Hollahan. The three squads were made up ot the following named persons and the scores made are set opposite their nameB: First-Sam First-Sam Browning 46 Mills, Salt Lake 46 Cowen, Salt Lake 44 Burgess, Ogden 4J McGaney, Salt Lake 44 Second P. Ogden .44 Alex Taylor, Ogden .44 Third-Couch, Third-Couch, Ogden W Leedom, Ogden 4- Adneson, Ogden Harrop, Ogden '6 While the weather was exceptionally exceptional-ly propitious for good snooting the traps were exceptionally last, which accounts for the ecore not being better bet-ter than it was. The next shoot will take place at the Wasatch grounds two weeks from yesterday, which will be for a medal. -t - |
