Show MONTANA MESSENGER BROKE HIS ARM Washington, Jan. 27. Vice-President Fairbanks today received a diagram di-agram from Charles S. Warren, the Montana messenger charged with thfi duly of bringing the elctoral vote of that state to Washington, saying his faliure to arrive within the period allotted by law was duo to the fact that he had a broken arm. Nothing has been heard from the messenger from Oregon. Inasmuch j copies of the electoral vote have been lecelved from both of these states by mail, the messengers will not be sui jecied to the $1,000 penalty for failure to rea,ch Washington prior to Jan. 115. |
