Show poor Man claim, cf the Sleeping Beauty group, having In sight plenty of milling ore and eight Inches that will assay 300. GOLD CIRCLE IS A GROWING CAMP New Mill Soon to Be Installed for Riley & Rlddell and Other Leasers. Conditions at Gold Circle are growing grow-ing .better each day and a number of Salt Lakers have Interested them-- them-- selves in this rling camp. A 50 ton mill Is soon to be erected to care for some of the high grade ore that has been found there. The proximity of tjie railroad to this camp will tend to lncreaao the value of the holdings. A recent dispatch by J. W. Matthews -from that district says: The Burns and Carter lease on the Esmeralda recently took out about ono ton of ore that Is estimated at $4,000. They have eight Inches that is very rich and as they get nearer to the adjoining lease owned by Schencks and Yaden, their ore shoot gTOWB larger. lar-ger. The .Schencks and Yaden lease No. A on the Esmeralda No. 1 at a depth of 100 foot has three feet of ore (that will mill $75 and expect to have a mill for their use only, the ore from tho 73 foot to tho 100 'showing a good average aver-age value and they have SO feet to drift to their end iine, -making a big tonnage. Tho Riley &. Riddell aud the Boyle & We6ton have consolidated with Man-ley Man-ley brothers and will put in the 50 ton mill as fa3t as they can get It on the ground. They have now on the dumps over 1.000 tons of ore that will average $40, and the Boyle lease has crosscut, at the depth of 130 feet and Is in ore. Samples give the fine on the dump at $17 nd the coarse at $250. The width of the crosscut Is 13 feet, and they will sink 100 feet at the Intersection In-tersection immediately. The work from now on will be pushed for they have put nine months' time on the lease. The Matthews-Warren lease on the Queen still remains good and they have about four inches of high grade that will run $5,000 and tho seven feet will average between $C0 and $80. The Queen, owned by Reeves, Hagcr and Storey, have on their original strike. 12 tons sacked that will average aver-age $200 por ton. The Drrc-calde lease on tho Great Western has opened up in the last week some six feet o( ore that pans good and they say will run $60. This lease is directly east of the Queen strike some few hundred feet and it looks to bo permanent and has tho foot wall. We are encouraged with the northwest north-west end of the Camp for the McNct-ton. McNct-ton. Adams and Kettlewell people have IS Inches of ore on their lease and aro preparing to sack it. It is of shipping value and the gold seems to bo of higher value than the gold In the eastern east-ern end of the camp. Dick Avery has a good thing on the |
