Show TERRIFIC EAST WIND. Blows Down Opera Houce Walls, Doing Do-ing Much Damage. Rountiful. Davis Co.. March 10. Davis county was visited last night by one of its periodical eastern blusters. blust-ers. Th only damage thug Tar reported re-ported occurred at Bountirul, which vus caused by the falling of the walls of the opera house, which was destroyed des-troyed by lire 12 days ago. Since tho flro the wallB had been allowed to remain re-main in a dangerous condition, and last night's wind played upon the high walls and between 9 and 10 o'clock they collapsed. A portion of the north wall crushed into the soulh wall of the Holbrook-Smedley furniture building, forcing it in, but doing no damago to the furntturo. The south wall loll upon the barber 6hop ownod by Albert Burnlngham, about 50 feet distant, and completely demolished it. The front walls fell upon the electric wires of the Bountiful Light & Power company, com-pany, doing considerable damage. Luckily the collapsing of the wall of the opera house happened at night, otherwise there might havo been some ono killed. C. II. Rampton has started his merchandise mer-chandise business again, being temporarily tem-porarily located in the brick building formerly occupied by the Wm. Rampton Ramp-ton Furniture company.
