Officer Chambers stated that Richards "hung out" at the saloons and that they had tiaced his record and whereabouts since November 3rd. Detective Pen-dor, Pen-dor, stated that the man had denied all acquaintance with the above-mentioned burglars, but had stated that he would not compromise any of them, even though he could, as he did not j ; believe in that kind of business. i Richards was asked to tell his story.
