Attorneys acting for tho family of Miscs Violet Gordon Charlesworth, whose recent mysterious disappearance has been the obJci of unusual public interest, issued a statement state-ment last night saying that they bad exhaustively examined Miss LllManl Charlesworth, a sister of Violet, and tho chauffeur, W'atts, both of whom were occupants of the motor car when it was alleged Violet was thrown over a cliff. The attorneys, as a result of four hours' questioning, see no reason to doubt that the accident really took place and that Violet was killed. Tho lawyers hope to cndi the hue and cry after the missing girl. |
