Davison, for the past three months a trusted clerk under Agent Nye Dobbs in the Ogden office of the Pacific Express company, has disappeared disap-peared and his present whereabouts is a matter of some concern to Dai-jfon's Dai-jfon's friends and to the responsible officln Is of the express company. Route Agent Hall admitted that the clerk had been absent since Monday night and that he was now checking over his accounts very thoroughly. He declined to state whether any serious seri-ous defalcation had occurred, and added that an investigation was necessary nec-essary to determine Just how matters stood.
