JeaSfl Fowers died yesterday at 5 p m. at tho family home, D26 Twenty-Mconth Twenty-Mconth street, following an illness of two weeks of heart and kidney trou-I trou-I ble He was born In Derbenshlr.-, England, June 20. 1S65, and was lh son of Jesse and Sarah Johnson Pow-ors Pow-ors He came to Utah when a small boy with his parents as Latter-day Saint converts In 1862. He was lator married to Anna Dyson, who eur-vlves eur-vlves him. Mr. Fowers hnd lived the greater part of his life at Hooper. He had llvod In Ofrden for some-years. some-years. He Ib well known In Ogden and In Weber county, and served two I terms as county commissioner H -wan a seventy In the L D. S. church. He has always been an acthe worker In local and civic, affairs. He ls survived sur-vived by tho following children, besides be-sides his wife Jesse D. Fowers. Taylor; Tay-lor; John R . David A . James I of Hooper; George C. Ogden; Mrs. Ida Clayton. Stanley V Fowers and Mrs. Cora Fife of Ogden, also 2 3 grand children und ono great-grundchild. The following brothers and sisters also survive him Joseph Fowcth, Hooper, Frank Fowers. Ogden. Mis Annie Boynton and Mrs. Sarah Simpson Simp-son of Hooper. The body Is at the Lindqulst funeral parlors and announcement an-nouncement of funeral will be made later. |
