"Broilers 3.474.370 pounds compared com-pared with 6,258,255 pounds June 1, 1621, and a five-year average of s,-780,000 s,-780,000 pounds. "Fowls. 4,339.71 9 pounds compared with 5,703,730 pounds June 1, 1921. and a five-year average of 5,814 000 pounds. "Turkeys 8,!!t3.G03 pound compared com-pared with B, 197, 964 pounds June 1 1921 and a five-year average of 4,712,000 pounds. "Miscellaneous poultry. 10,898.288 pounds, compared with 9,636,263 pounds June i, 1921, and a five -yea i average of 16.S25.000 pounds. ' " It will he noted that while tne total pounds Is greater than last year it Is quite a Utile below the five-year five-year average It would be decidedly lower if it were not for the great Increase In-crease In the total pounds of roasters roast-ers There la a very slight Increase In the amount of turkeys and of miscellaneous mis-cellaneous poultry.
