Gibbons & Reed were the lowest of six contractors contrac-tors bidding on the federal aid pavement pave-ment connecting Brighu.ni with Co-Plnne, Co-Plnne, a distance of 4.fl miles, whun the bids were opened yesterday afternoon after-noon thC Sfjate capltol building but, because the Box Elder county commissioners com-missioners requested the state road I ommlsslon to choose a black surface type of pavement, no award of the contract was made. Gibbons & Reed were low bidders on all types of pavement Including cost of materials furnished by the state and a 10 per cent allowance for engineering.
