Show New York Collection to Remain in Ogden During Week During the past week hundreds viewed the masterpieces of art now on exhibit at tho Derthana building. During the seven remaining days that the pictures will be in Ogden It is expected that many more people of Ogden and vicinity will take advantage of the Opportunity afforded them through the efforts of members of the City Federation of Women's I lUOM. The pictures were brought to Ogden over a week ago from tho Metropolitan Metropoli-tan Museum of Arts of New York. A collection of 30 world famous oil paintings, many Utah artists' wor'es Included, are now hanpinp in the gallery gal-lery In the Derthana building. Tho exhibit will close Saturday. November No-vember 25- During the one week left, teachers of the Ogden schools propose pro-pose to take their classes In a bodv to the exhibit. Talks given by Ogden club women have featured several afternoons and j evenings during tho past week. The hostesses for this afternoon In- elude Mrs. J. K. Carver, Mrs. Roland B. Ballantyne, Mrs K R. Alton, and I for this evening th hostesses will be Mrs. Joseph E. Cave and Mrs- A. A McBrlde Monday's hostesses Include Mrs. C. H. Barton. Mrs. Archie M - i Intnsh and Mrs. George E. Browning. Saturday afternoon a tea was served between 2 and 6 o'clock. |
