Fagan Burch of the Omaha club, was appointed to dispose of the franchise The commltteo left Monday ofr Lin- coln Neb., to take up the matter of placing a club In that city v. Ith the chamber of commerce there. Tho waiver price in the Western league was raised from J300 to $1,000 by tho club owners Besides Lincoln. Denver, Okmulgee land Muskogee. Okla.. are talked of for a berth In tho Western. President j Tcarney said tho trip to Lincoln Phould not bo taken to mean that anything definite had boon settled.
