Show PIKE FEET OF SNOflN HILLS Percipitation During Month Ample. Says Federal Weatherman Ogden and Weber County enjoyed ample precipitation during the month of February, according to the snowfall snow-fall bulletin of the climatologlcal service, ser-vice, as compiled by Charles F Marvin, Mar-vin, chief of the department of agriculture agri-culture weather bureau. The report shows that there were flvo inche of snow fell during February. Feb-ruary. Precipitation for the month was registered at 2.2 inches The estimated es-timated depth of snow in the nearby hills IS f,4 inches. The report of snowfall throurrh Hie state in general, ns prepared by the weather bureau, is as follows The summer water prospects over the- state at the close of February show little change from conditions reported at the close, of Januarv the mountains of the northern count lea received fairly good snowfall during! February, while only moderate precipitation pre-cipitation occurred in southern counties, coun-ties, This leaves the water prospects good or excellent over the CJreat Lake watershed, and locally east of the Wasateh and south of the Uinta Mountains; Moun-tains; but owing to the comparatively dry soils and the moderate February precipitation, the need for more rain and snow has apparently been accentuated accen-tuated in some of the southwestern and southeastern counties.
