Show SPECIAL VENIRE IN DAMAGE SUIT Ten More Men Called for Jury in Everts -Worrell Case That the $50,000 damage suit of H. W. Everts against Dr. R. E Worrell, Ogden physician, w hlch opened In the district court yesterday will bo bitterly bitter-ly fought. Is evidenced In tho care that Is being taken by counsel for both parties par-ties In the selection of a Jury This morning the Jury box had not been filled, although the entire sessions ses-sions yesterday were consumed In examination ex-amination of the Jurors. The court found It necessary to order th draw ing of a special venlro of ton men this morning and their examination had not been completed at noon It Is estimated that the trial of tho case will consume ten days at least Everts, who is 21 years of age. charges that bo became paralyzed from his hips down after Dr Worrell had Injected drugs in his veins in the treatment for eruptions that had ap- pearod upon his fuce He further cliarn'.-s that the pbyslcian erroneously diagnosed hll case and ssid ho was suffering from a blood disease, and prescribed tho treatment which resulted re-sulted in his hocomliiK paralyzed. Everts appears in the courtroom in an Invalid's chair, being unable to n alk. |
