EXHIBIT CUP WON BY CLUB CUEISTS By defeating the Salt Bake Commercial Com-mercial club billiard players b a! ' margin of SI points in a 24-game se- j ries of straight rail and three cush lion billiards, the Weber club cue stars won the first leg on the loving cup' recentl purchased by the two clubs. The cup was brought back to Ogden' Saturday evening after the Weber club: players had won the trophy and is I uow on exhibition at the club. In order to retain the cup the We-' ber club must win the trophy two! years straight Ogden was represented in the va rious games both at home and at Salt Lake by the following players. Al llestmark. Frank Itriggs, Joe Ridges,; Lawrence Ridges, Harry Gee, Richard Leek and Robert Proudfit. I'uring the tournament some re markable scores were made. in straight rail Joe Ridges holdr. the record rec-ord for the longest run with a run of 31 points while Lawrence Ridges holds the record for runs at three-cushion, three-cushion, with seven to his credit. The matches tended to bring the two clubs more closely together and also tended to create spirit between the two organizations, according to Secretary W. V.
