Show Army Gridiron Outlook Considered Quite Poor The outlook for the Army football team this fall Is far from good and Is causing no tminll amount of uneasiness un-easiness among' the coaches, particularly particu-larly In the case of Captain McEwan. who, for the third year, will again direct di-rect Hie Army team's destiny' on the gridiron. At this time last year prospects were excellent and the season's record rec-ord bore out the preliminary views. Then West Point had Garblsch, Far: wick and Klllnger In the center of the line. With them, and with Bill Wood and Gllmore In the backfleld, gone, and with Fraser, Westphallnger and Grlf- 1 fith, more or less regulars last season, sea-son, also out by graduation, there Is left for conches this year the big problem prob-lem of building up an entire new line from tackle to tackle. |
