Failure of tho quadrlennial Episcopal address, read yesterday, to mention tho inter-church inter-church world movement, brought forth protests today at the genoral conference of tho African Methodist Episcopal church In session here. Many delegates spoko in favor of the movement, and a motion was adopted insisting that the bishops prepare pre-pare a supplemental report sotting forth thoir views of It. Bishop W. H. Beckett of South Africa, Afri-ca, and other speakers urged that a campaign bo launched for $5,000,00 to bo used in preparing missionaries for foreign fields. |
