Show uu ! CHEROKEE WITH LONG NAME IS OGDEN VISITOR Domingo Cordovia, full blooded Cherokee Indian, visited with M. H. Clark, Union Pacific claim agent this morning, Cordovia and his wife, also a full "blooded Cherokee Indian, have located in Ogden temporarily, tnelr home at Rawlins, Wyoming proving too high in altitude to be conducive to Llrs. Cordovia's health. Domingo claims that his grandfather grand-father was tho famous "White-horse "White-horse with-lhe long-mane," who was head chief of the Chorokco tribe for a number of years. Domingo says that his Spanish name resulted from association with shcopherder3 when he was a lad. As ho grew older he changed his name from "Young-man-ho-drank-thc-coffee" to his present appellation. Cordovia is a car repairer at Kawlins and was slightly injured in a yard accident recently. He met Mr. Clark at this time and visited him today to renew acquaintance, ac-quaintance, -oo |
