With the addition of 1,000,000 members to this number the American Ameri-can Legion will have a majority of all men who served during the great world war. Although the legion is less than fifteen months old, It has boon estimated the present dally membership averages of the organization organiza-tion is 3000 persons. Direct appeals to individuals will be the mothod adopted to reach prospective pros-pective members. Mr. llolden says. Discharged soldiers will be asked what the government Is doing for thom and what they require.
