Th beets did not attain any I greater size than that of a healthy carrot. Summer came and went and the firmer had to neglect his other crops to a certain extent to weed beets. Finally he bad them all dug and topped The roads were almost impuss-able impuss-able and he could not get his iu:s hauled. Finally he made a deal with a neighbor tendering half of his leei crop in payment for the hauling f the beets. After he had completed his deal in sugar beets ho managed to break even on his beet crop by selling L'OO bushels of 4vh-at lit I per bushel. |
