Show Robert R. Hodge Says Boom Days Settling Down in Lone Star State Robert R. Hodge, son of R. H. Hodge ol' the Ogden Iron Works company, who is now secretary of the Beacon Oil Refining company of Henrietta, Texas, arrived in Ogden yesterday for a week's visit. Mr. Hodge was formerly for-merly a lieutenant in the United States air service and following his discharge from the army took active interest In the erection of the big Toxas refining company which is now running at a capacity of 2000 barrels a day, . Boom days in Texas are now about over, Mr. Hodge declared, and the oil business Is lapidly settling down after af-ter a period of excitement which follows fol-lows the discovery of new fields. The majority of the wells near Henrietta are maintaining a good flow, although some have already become dry, Mr. Hodge said. During his visit Mr. Hodge is staying stay-ing with his parents at 20-1 Twenty-third Twenty-third street. nri |
