When questioned this morning regarding re-garding the proposed now surface for the canyon road,- Reuben Simpson, district engineor for the state road commission, said tho matter rests entirely en-tirely with the state road commission in Salt Lake and the Ogden department depart-ment would be compelled to await their action. lie intimated that It Is doubtful that the road will be completed com-pleted this year unless the present I plans aro changod.
