Show oo Cooler Temperatures Result in Diminished Flow in Ogden and Weber With cool temperatures of last night and this morning the waters of the Ogden' and Weber rivers diminished today and practically danger of overflow over-flow Is over for a time at least, according accord-ing to C. H. Martin, city supervisor of streets. Tho Ogden rlVer fell more than six inches this morning, and the waters of the Weber receded, although not so rapidly as the Ogden. The area on Thirty-third slroet, we3t of the Union Pacific railroad tracks, is still under water although the water has receded and is gradually getting back into the river channels. The road to Roy near the river bridge is now clear and open for travel. Land near Slatervllle and West Warren War-ren is still inundated and crops thero are a complete loss. All banks of the Ogden river in the city district have held during the swollen condition of the stream and no damage has been reported from overflow. oo |
