Show Democrats to Meet in Salt Lake Theatre Ogden delegates to tho Democratic' state convention have been notified that the sessions will bo held June I I in the Salt Iake theater in Salt Lake. Paul H. Ray. secretary of the Democratic Demo-cratic state committee, was notified yesterday by George D. Pyper, manager man-ager of tho theater, that the building would be at the disposal of the Democrats." Demo-crats." It is expected" that Senator William H. King and James H. Moyle, who. is -assistant secretary of the treasury ami j also national committeeman for Utah, will bo present at the convention. This convention is for the purpose I of electing four delegates from the state at largo and four alternates to attend the national convention at San j Francisco. The conventions of the two congressional districts will be held j immediately afterward, and' each of these will elect two delegates and two alternates loathe national convention. At tho state convention thero will also be elected a national committeeman and a national com'mitteewoman. Provision Pro-vision will also bo made for the efec-tion efec-tion of a state chairman and other officers of the state organization. Prominent Democrats have predict-' predict-' ed that Senator King and Mu. Moylo j will be among those elected from the state at large, and that tho delegation will go to tho national convention uu-instvueted. |
