Clark,' an electrical engineer en-gineer formerly with the United States bureau of mines, smoke investigation in Salt Lake, gave the results of tests made by the bureau engineer of coal from Utah mines laid down in Salt Lake. Clarence F. Pirschfelt, of Detroit, chief of the research department of the Detroit Edison company, built up I an estimate of the cost at the proposed Magna plant at 8J9 mills per kilowatt hour, as contrasted with the testimony of Mr. Stillman that .power could be 1 produced under the conditions specified, speci-fied, for 4 mills. |
