Show By "WILL KOC3ERS. .Famous Oklahoma Cowboy AYIt Enterprise Association.) (Copy wright, 1920, by The Newspaper California's fifteen delegates started to the Chicago convention accom,-panled accom,-panled by sixty bootleggers. As these delegates were elected by the people the chaaices are they will be unseated before they reach Denver. I see where they are cutting a lot of delegates down to half a vote. Guess they will let the hal-a-voto delegates nominate the vice president. The south was going to send some wljlte delegates, but they dldnt, havcj any. To showthey were real Republican strongholds two southern states found delegates of both sides. There are several states in the south where the negroes arc allowod to vote, but not over one where it's even counted. As far as qualifications go I think Knox has the most suitable name for 1 an American president, especially at this time. Speaking of Knox, I sec where tho whole convention Js getting superstitious supersti-tious and beginning to knock Wood. They will mess around a week and about next Thursday or Friday Penrose Pen-rose will tell 'em who's nominated. nn |
