Show BODIES OF WAR URSES BROUGHT FROM OVERSEAS NEW YORK, May 23.--The bodies bod-ies of ten women war nurses who died ovcroeac on duty at army base hospitals and tho first to be brought home, arrived here today on the transport Princess Matol-ka. Matol-ka. On board also wero the bodies bod-ies of 418 soldiers who lost their lives in accidents or succumbed to wounds and disease. Tomorrow the bodies, claimed by the relatives, rela-tives, will be removed from the ship and sent to their destinations, in various parts of the country, while those unclaimed will be taken tak-en toArlington national cemetery for burial. The women who gave their lives in the service included: Miss Cora M. Keech, Santa Ana, Calif.; and Miss Jeneora Robincon, Nam-pa, Nam-pa, Idaho. Returning to their homes in various var-ious part3 of the country were 1,-690 1,-690 Polish troopo who enlisted when, the war broke out, going to France and later to Poland. |
