Show 'SALT LAKE PARKING ORDINANCE DISCARDED SALT LAKE, May 26.--Sa)t Lake's hour-limit automobilo parking ordinance ordi-nance was discarded at C o'clock yesterday, yes-terday, to be replaced as soon as possible pos-sible by an ordinanco allowing automobiles auto-mobiles to park for an unlln lted t.mc on one side of the street, with tne hour limit law effective on th. opposite, oppo-site, side of the street. The present plan allows cars to park on tho north and west sides of the stveets during the afternoon hours. During the morning hours cirs mtvv be parked undisturbed on the cast and south sides of tho streets. Opposite Oppo-site the "unlimited" sides of tht street. the old one-hour regulation will apply: ap-ply: The police department is preparing signs which will designate which sIm? of the street is unlimited, and which 3idc is for "transient" parking. |
