Held on Second Day of State Convention Here With only five days remaining before be-fore the Inrush of American Legion delegates and members who will attend at-tend the second annual convention next Monday, Tuesday and Wednea-nay, Wednea-nay, the members of the local convention conven-tion committee are speeding plans and getting everything in readiness. More than COO formor soldiers are expected i to attend the sessions, which will be( held in the assembly room of the Og-j den high school. The initial session j will open Monday afternoon," following follow-ing an address of wclcomo by Mayor Frank Francis. One of the big foatures of the convention con-vention will be the Decoration day celebration Monday morning. The ontirc membership of tho legion which Is represented at the convention conven-tion will participate, in addition to. &. A. R. veterans, Spanlsh-Amerlqan war veterans and Uoy Scouts. The cole-bration cole-bration will open at 10 ojclock on tnc lawn surrounding the city hall. Remember Heroes. m Flowers, flags and ribbons which will, n be used foj;-the decoration of graves of men Vho died in the service werej I purchased yesterday by committee: m members. Nearly a ton of flowers will be used to commemorate the sac-j rifices of the men who died in tlietl three wars. In addition to the floral B decorations and ribbo;is, cards bear- ing the names and deeds of the heroes will be placed on the graves. 9 Twenty-four graves .of mon whoil died in service during the world warjj will be decorated during the morning.
