The two men died In fearful agotrr, their flesh being boiled from their bodies In many places. Craft and Pepper were pinioned beneath be-neath tho twisted Iron of their onglne for a number of minutes, being bnthed In a steady stream of scalding steam from the wreck boiler. Pepper managed man-aged to extricate himself, and waa sTuund by a rescuing party wandering In the brush, crazed by pain. |
