Mr. FoWler, pointed out In the pamphlet, provides a number of objectives, ob-jectives, a more compact, business like organization; equal opportunity for all students, better standardisation and standardized methods, better quality f - lass room Instructions, and greater economy in operation. A portion of the pamphlet Is devoted de-voted in a description of the county school buildings, and how they have ( been bettered since organization of the I county schools as a unit, rather than r 1 1 small and practically helpless country s-chool houses. School property prop-erty In WebCr county in 1903 was worth $102,713. School property has more than tripled Itself ln 15 years, the value at present being j.llS.- $07 The riystom of teaching has also progrcssrd and Is second to no county school system in the United Stales at presrnt. The twelve month proRr.-vm also offers of-fers a number of desirable objective, most of which have been gained by the county schools of Weber county. These objectives, as set forth by Superintendent Superintend-ent Fowler, are. If possible, loafing and delinquency, de-linquency, training ln practical com-j munlty activities, towards better citizenship, citi-zenship, furnishing employment to I principals all the year round, closer co-operation between school, home and all community agencies This work has been well developed In Weber county, and Is belnjr practiced prac-ticed throughout the county, according accord-ing to a statomcni of Mr. Fowler in the pamphlet. |
